Randy Schawel is a founding partner of Aqua Terra Group. Prior to forming Aqua Terra with Kenny Zwahr, he was Executive Director of the Itasca Park District outside of Chicago, IL. He has twenty eight years experience in conservation and park management and has held numerous board and committee positions on the Illinois Park District Association. The agency he led was named the National Gold Medal Award winner in 2004, the highest award for Park Agencies in the nation. In 2003, he was named Professional of the Year for the Illinois Park Association. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin with a BA degree and Roosevelt University with a Master’s Degree in Public Administration.

Kenny Zwahr is a founding partner of Aqua Terra Group. Prior to forming Aqua Terra with Randy Schawel, he developed Danbury Fish Farms, Texas’ Largest Freshwater Fish Hatchery, The Lakes of Danbury, a nationally acclaimed Recreational Sportfishing Operation, centered around professional bass fishing, and Danbury Lake Management, a professional lake management company. Kenny has 38 years of experience in business development and management, marketing and market development, land and lake design and development, recreational fisheries and ranch development and management, intensive aquaculture and water quality management. Prior to starting his own businesses Kenny attended college at Alvin Community College, Stephen F. Austin State University, and University of Houston, taking mostly biological and pre-medical courses.
